Managing Director
Mikio Ishibashi
Mikio is Managing Director for Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). He joined in 2023, having previously worked within the wider RICOH Family Group. His background and experience at RICOH before he arrived at RPL has been extensive, he has a breath of knowledge of product design and leading RICOH Technology as President. Having taken over from Colin Weaver, Mikio wishes to continue to lead the business through the transformation to become a Digital Services company.
Executive Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer
Rod Baggott
Rod is Executive Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). Rod has strategic board level responsibility for all Finance, Legal and Human Resources matters. Rod qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 and joined RPL in 1997. As well as an accounting qualification, Rod also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Non-Executive Director
Colin Weaver
Colin is a Non-Executive Director, and previous Managing Director at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). His career at RICOH started in Engineering in 1984 and he was employed to start the manufacturing operations. Colin has held numerous roles within the Engineering function, which he had led since 1999. He was appointed to Managing Director, the first non-Japanese Managing Director, in 2016 to lead the business through the transformation to become a Digital Services company. In 2023, Colin stepped down as Managing Director to his current Non-Executive Director role.
Operations General Manager
Tim Ottley
Tim is General Manager of the Operations Division at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). He is responsible for Toner Operations & Ink Filling, Production Print, Ink & Digital Supplies and Supply Chain. Tim joined RPL in 2021 after over 35 years in the Engineering and Manufacturing Industry, specialising in Aerospace, Automotive and Digital Services. Tim has a Bachelors of Engineering (BEng Hons) Diploma in Industrial Studies in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Masters of Science (MSc) in Engineering Business Management.
HR General Manager
Claire James
Claire is the General Manager of the Human Resources Division at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). She is responsible for the HR Management Team, Learning & Development, Business Support, Health & Safety, and the Transformation & Engagement department. Claire started at RPL in 1998 in Human Resources and has progressed to General Manager HR in 2023. Her passion for people has influenced holistic people strategies for workplace wellbeing and engagement, creating an environment where talent can be developed and leveraged and where employees can truly thrive. Claire has a Bachelor Degree (BA Hons) in Business Administration as well as being a MCIPD Chartered Professional in Human Resources.
Finance General Manager
David Webb
David is the General Manager of the Finance Division at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL). He is responsible for Business Performance, QA, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and IT. David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and held operational finance roles with other global manufacturing companies before joining RPL in 2018. In 2021, he added a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University Business School to his undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics gained from the University of Birmingham.
Business Strategy General Manager
Tomoyasu Makino
Tomoyasu is the General Manager of the Business Strategy Division for the Office Printing Business, overseeing the Business Development & Planning team. He joined RICOH in 2001 and worked in Production Control, Warehouse Management, and Supply Chain Management in several RICOH factories across the world. Tomoyasu became the General Manager of the Production Planning Department in 2021 being responsible for strategic planning of RICOH's production sites. He joined Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) in 2023.
Business Strategy General Manager
Kiyo Ukaji
Kiyo is the General Manager of the Business Strategy Division for the Production Printing business as well as Research & Development, Additive Manufacturing, and Inkjet. He joined RICOH in 1990 in QA and joined Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) in 1998 as a QA advisor. Kiyo progressed onto becoming General Manager of Engineering, before transferring into his current role in 2023. Kiyo holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry.
Engineering & Operations General Manager
Chris Rymer
Chris is the General Manager of the Engineering Division. He started Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) in 1997 as a Craft Apprentice before moving onto engineering roles and then progressing to Manager of Design & Development and Research & Development. Chris became GM of Engineering & Operations in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Degree in Mechatronics and is currently studying for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
Engineering & Digital Operations Assistant General Manager
Richard Aston
Richard is the Assistant General Manager of the Digital Operations & Engineering Division. He started Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) in 1994 as a Technical Apprentice, progressing onto a Junior Engineering role followed by a specialist Engineering role. He became Assistant General Manager in 2023 and holds a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Computer Science.
