RPL raises over £2000 for Movember 2025

The Ricoh Movember 25 team.

Telford, UK, 04 December 2025 – Throughout November, colleagues across Ricoh UK Products Ltd (RPL) and Ricoh Printing Solutions Europe Ltd (RPSE) united once again to support Movember – the leading global movement for men's health.

Men continue to face a silent health crisis, with far too many dying young from preventable causes. Movember’s mission – spanning mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer – has never been more important.

Why does Ricoh take part in Movember?

Movember is the world’s largest men’s health charity, dedicated to transforming the face of men’s health through early intervention, open conversations and groundbreaking research.

Since 2003, the charity has funded more than 1,250 men’s-health projects worldwide, helping reshape how men access care, understand risk and seek support.

How did Ricoh take part in Movember 2025?

This year saw another fantastic display of enthusiasm, creativity and generosity across our Telford-based site, and the primary activity was ‘Grow a Mo’, with 12 employees taking part.

From moustache-growing efforts to 60km challenges, team events and personal fundraising feats, colleagues embraced a wide variety of activities to support the cause.

Whether growing a Mo, taking on the Move challenge, hosting Mo-ments or creating their own unique fundraising ideas, every participant contributed to a shared purpose: raising awareness and vital funds to help save men’s lives.

Following last year’s strong campaign, the 2025 effort was co-captained by IT Manager, Tom Barnes, and Communications Lead, Josh Coffey, who took on the role from previous Mo-champion, RPL’s Area Specialist Maintenance Engineer – and voluntary Wellbeing Champion, Ryan Humphreys.

Together, they encouraged colleagues to join the Ricoh Movember 25 team and helped maintain momentum throughout the month.

  • Josh Coffey (RPL, Communications Lead)
  • Ryan Humphreys (RPL, Area Specialist Maintenance Engineer)
  • Rob Bland (RPL, Continuous Improvement Specialist)
  • Myles Jarman (RPSE, Engineer)
  • Lee Massey (RPL, Senior Engineer)
  • John Pountney (RPSE, Senior Lab Assistant)
  • John Bennett (RPL, Quality Assurance Specialist)
  • Glenn Read (RPL, IT Customer Support Technician)
  • Dave Rogers (RPL, Shift Supervisor)
  • Anthony Thomas (RPL, Continuous Improvement Specialist)
  • Will Lake (RPL, Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer)

How much did the Ricoh Movember 25 team raise?

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Ricoh’s ‘Mo Bros’, ‘Mo Sisters’ and supporters, the team exceeded its fundraising target not once, but three times during November.

The final total reached £2,213.00 — a fantastic achievement that will contribute directly to improving men’s health outcomes across the world.

Although the main campaign concluded at the end of November, donations to the Ricoh Movember 25 team remain open year-round for anyone who would still like to contribute.

Reflections from the team

Co-captain and IT Manager, Tom Barnes, shared his thanks: “I would like to say a huge thank you to all of our Mo Bros and Sisters for taking part in this incredible fundraising activity, and to everyone that has donated so generously.

“Every Mo grown, every conversation started, every kilometre walked, and every pound raised helps drive change and support men when they need it most.

“We are truly humbled by everyone's kindness. Thank you again.”
