Ricoh launches Global SDGs Action Month 2025

Empowering employees worldwide to take action for Fulfilment through Work.

Ricoh has announced the launch of Ricoh Global SDGs Action Month 2025, dedicating the month of June to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through employee-driven initiatives around the world.

The Ricoh Group places the enhancement of corporate value through resolving social issues at the core of its business strategy. This annual initiative reflects Ricoh's commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices across all regions and operations.

Since 2006, Ricoh has held annual environmental events during Global Eco Action Month, coinciding with World Environment Day in June. In 2019, the program was renamed Ricoh Global SDGs Action, to reflect an expanded focus beyond environmental and decarbonization efforts, addressing a broader range of social issues. 2025 marks the 20th year of this evolving initiative.

SDG Action Month

This year's theme, “Take action to empower Fulfillment through Work,” encourages all employees, including senior leadership, to reflect on work-related social challenges and take both individual and collective action. This aligns with our mission of understanding and transforming how people work to unleash human potential and creativity for a sustainable future. Ahead of the initiative, Akira Oyama, President and CEO, shared a video message with employees worldwide, expressing his aspirations for the program.

Oyama says: “I ask you to take a moment to imagine the people your work ultimately supports, and to reflect on what you can do to contribute to their Fulfillment through Work. Even small actions matter. When we all act together, those small steps add up to something powerful. Let's come together as One Ricoh to support the transformation of work and empower Fulfillment through Work for our customers.”
